“The Legend of Korra" Virtual Korra Cosplayer says “Korrasami" helped make same-sex relationships as normal everyday life in our lives.

In the finale of book 4 Korra, Asami were holding hands while looking into each other’s eyes as they were whisked off to spirit world. Korra and Asami were beginning their romantic relationship, it signaled that Korra and Asami were bisexual. The subtle hint was largely missed in Book One when Korra arrives in Republic City. At the food stall with small first conversation between the Avatar and vendor.

As if that wasn’t enough to notice, that’s okay. The point is, it helped revolutionized the same-sex relationships in real life as normal, everyday thing.. even it’s part of LGBTQIA commmunities alongside certain famous people who are in that same place. However, this trend has been here for centuries... It just kept getting ignored, not getting any traction or voice until “The Legend of Korra" our popular virtual Korra Cosplayer Cassandra Saturn has statement for us regarding it.

This has become a such reality that we face lot of aggression towards same-sex relationships especially the gay commmunities for men to point that they would simply just murder us without batting a eye, without a second thought.. without warning. This is kind of society that doesn’t adapt or change.. update themselves to include us. This applies to transgender females who has faced discrimination from every area of living especially bathroom stalls to schools, stores and workplaces.. where the same-sex relationships are looked down upon or frowned as well. The progress for LGBTQIA commmunities is very slow, extremely slow because society is delaying and slowing them down in everything in their arsenal especially dirty tricks to teach the commmunities that they don’t belong. They’re wrong. We DO belong. The history has shown that. It is a indispensable fact. We can’t function without LGBTQIA commmunities.

Cassandra Saturn, best known as Avatar Korra online is one of two girls who made “Korrasami" style relationship with her best friend for years before real Korrasami content finally happened in animated series. It was essentially a foreshadowing for Korrasami.

Cassandra Saturn was the Avatar, her best friend was Asami Sato and couple of boys Cassandra knew were also their close friends who was Mako and Bolin. Cassandra dated both of them before having serious relationship with her best friend. During that time, they faced online hate and discrimination because of their sexuality and relationship with each other. But they were so committed to their relationship at the time it happened many years ago. They became known as Korrasami couple over the years.

Even today, Cassandra Saturn is dealing with LGBTQIA issues and transgender rights as well so that same-sex relationships thrive. It’s her personal mission to make sure that nobody else in society disrespects the work that was done so far by LGBTQIA advocates such as Jazz Jennings. Same-sex relationships in animation has been the major revolution for others and for LGBTQIA commmunities as well in animation to continue making impact for representation and love in the world.
